The Department of Cardiology is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of major heart diseases, especially heart failure, complex arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia, ischaemic heart disease (heart attack and angina pectoris) and heart valve disorders.
We have a joint team of specialised professionals and with extensive experience in each of these areas, including cardiologists, specialist nursing staff and the support of many other related specialties such as cardiovascular radiology.
