For Patients:
Our International Services Department is responsible for assisting patients seeking medical care abroad.
To begin the process, we ask patients to complete a medical form, this will enable us to refer you to the appropriate doctor to attend to your health needs prior to your trip.
We will also ask you to send us the Consent Form for E-mail Communications and the Authorisation Form for the Disclosure of medical Information.
If the doctor considers it necessary, he/she will request the latest medical reports and imaging studies. These reports must be in English.

Before your Visit
Once a treatment plan has been established with your doctor, our international Patient Care team will provide you with the following:
- Assignment of the Patient Care team member who will be your contact throughout the planning and treatment process.
- An estimate of the costs of medical services at our Hospital.
- Support in coordinating payment of costs prior to the start of treatment.
- Confirmation of scheduled medical appointments and procedures.
- Help and guidance for the journey.
- Personalised care during your hospital stay.
Upon arrival at Hospital Recoletas Salud Marbella, your assigned member of our Patient Care team will continue to guide you with regard to the logistics and scheduling of your stay, as well as attending to any questions or requests you may have. Our Patient Care specialist will ensure that you receive the following:
- An interpreter for all medical appointments.
- Additional information on procedures and indications from doctors.
- Support during the hospital admission process and follow-up medical visits.
- Coordination of nursing and room services.
- Organisation of services to meet food, cultural and religious needs.
After your Visit
Once their treatment is completed at Recoletas Salud Marbella, our Department will provide the following:
- Management of copies and translations of your medical records
- Facilitation of the process of paying your medical bills.
- A final invoice with a detailed breakdown of the services provided.
- Assistance with follow-up medical appointments and communication with doctors.
