The Hospital will host various high-quality temporary exhibitions.
According to the WHO, art reduces stress and anxiety, improves mood and the quality of experience in a hospital setting.
The Recoletas Salud Foundation and the [H]ARTE Foundation have recently signed a collaboration agreement under which the hospital Marbella will host various art exhibitions next year.
“After 36 years in the world of health and well-being, we know how important it is for our hospital spaces to be warm, welcoming, comfortable... that is precisely why we are working closely with the [H]Arte Foundation to make our hospital Marbella a more humane, artistic, and friendly space for our patients.”", said its manager, Carmen Rodríguez.
For Recoletas Salud it is a priority to provide health to people, "We want our patients to live longer, healthier, and happier lives, but we also want them all to feel comfortable with us. We want to make their hospital stay more comfortable, easier, and more enjoyable.", emphasised the manager of the hospital Marbella.
For her part, the founder of the [H]ARTE Foundation, Tamara Kreisler, with more than 25 years of experience in the art world, insisted on the therapeutic effect of art on people. "The WHO itself highlights the role of art in reducing stress, tension, and anxiety in patients and improving their hospital experience.", he stressed.
“At the [H]ARTE Foundation we are delighted to be able to collaborate with Recoletas Salud and contribute to humanising the hospital Marbella, using high-quality art that improves the quality of life, increases well-being and enriches the lives of the patients and staff.”", Tamara Kreisler concluded.

About [H]ARTE Foundation
The [H]ARTE Foundation organises temporary art exhibitions and creates solidarity murals in spaces where people in vulnerable situations are found, such as hospitals, primary care centres and nursing homes. Its goal is to enable all those who spend time there—patients, family members, and healthcare workers—to escape and be inspired by the artistic value of each piece during their healing process, both physically and emotionally.
This is the first Spanish organisation to implement this type of activity in our country, following the success of similar initiatives in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom, with excellent results for both patients and hospital staff.
Tamara Kreisler, president of the [H]ARTE Foundation, leads this project that seeks to take advantage of the recognised therapeutic role of art and offer a different way of contemplating, understanding, and enjoying it.
